Daily 5/CAFE Class Coming to an End!

I am taking a break from my last assignment for the Daily 5/CAFE grad class I'm taking. This class took a lot of my extra time, but it has been worth it.

I've read both of those text numerous times, and I just had to read them both again. Each time I read them, I learn something new. And, since these served as the required texts for this course, I was thrilled.

Throughout the course, it was so great to be able to "talk" directly with Allison Behne (writer for the DailyCafe site and professor of the course). She was always available and answered questions quickly. I strongly recommend this class, and at only $400, you'd be crazy not to check it out. There is a link from the DailyCafe site if you want to find out more.

I can't wait to share my new learning. This has truly transformed my teaching! Now, off to work on that paper (yuck)!

  1. I have been doing Daily 5 for 3 years and love it. This is my first year doing the CAFE and it has been amazing.

I will have to come back to follow. Something is going on with it when I try to join.

    1. Tamera,
I hope you come back! I would love to establish a support system of teachers who use Daily 5 and CAFE! Glad you like it...I LOVE it too.

  2. I stumbled across your blog through Fifth in the Middle's linky!

Daily 5/CAFE was a blessing when I moved up to 5th after 10 years in primary. I had no idea how I was planning to teach reading in 5th until I read the book and found stuff online. I only wish I had known about it back when I was teaching 1st and 2nd!
